Deep Fried Cod


1 Chunky Cod per person

7oz Plain Flour

2ox Potato Flour

1/4 Bottle of Beer

1 Egg Yolk

25ml Oil

250ml Milk


Blend all ingredients together

Sieve and out in fridge

Heat oil to 185 C

Dip Cod in seasoned flour then into batter then into the oil for 5-7 mins.

Serve with chips,lemon,vinegar and tartare sauce

By God is this good of an evening with a glass of milk!
